My on-going battle

How many times a day have we blurted out “Life is so unfair” or any other phrase expressing our negativity over our lives? If I made you count all the sighs vs. smiles who would win?.

Sighs won over me for the first half of this year and I must say that was quite a long period of time. I missed the times when I was still able to imbibe positivity and think that I can do anything if I will it. Somewhere between the battle versus the sighs and smiles I lost that will. Losing it was difficult, but finding it was another story.

“An idea is like a virus, resilient, highly contagious. The smallest seed of an idea can grow. It can grow to define or destroy you.” -Cobb, Inception.

And so you thought that this was a bad idea and then you find ways to justify that it is and so it grows and then actually transforms to a bad idea, no, not because it was bad by nature but that was how you pictured it. Don’t get ahead of yourself especially in setting the negativity of things or events in your life. A wrong notion probably destroyed that will, so if it got lost or destroyed I do not know.

I have another idea, my will wasn’t lost or destroyed, it’s still there and I can actually hear it now, just a little. But hey, I still have half a year to listen, I think I know how the battle ends, do you? =)
